Now, I will be the first to admit, being a sidekick isn't all that glamorous. You have to basically do whatever the "main" superhero says, you get cropped out of a lot of newspaper photos, and you frequently have to wear tights with boots.
I would, on the other hand, much rather be a sidekick than a sidekick that believes he is a superhero, which is basically what I was when I was in the Beatnik Squad. (Plus, Triple Threat is much easier on the eyes than Elizabeth...)
So save the glamour for the other guys. I'm perfectly happy picking up dry cleaning and making sure I set the Tivo to record the news for Triple Threat's reel.
Because sometimes? You can see a corner of my sleeve.
More blog.

I'm serious.

All right, so I skipped a week of updates, but there was a holiday in there, so I think it's okay. Also, it was less than six months, which has been my average.
I'm all about including tidbits about the most current strips in this little update majiggy, so here's a tidbit: Triple Threat is not wearing a Batman shirt. This may end up making more sense in the future, but I won't say more. (Also, for an explanation of Myron's pajamas, see this.)

A brand new Beatnik Squad is directly above what you are reading right now! I have to get used to the comic being on the same page as the updates, and possibly try to come up with something interesting to say.
Here's a tidbit: I almost had Myron refer to his journal as "Kitty," ala Anne Frank. I resisted this urge, for you, gentle reader. And for you, Jeff Mangum.

Welcome to the all new Beatnik Squad. I've made a much cleaner, easier to navigate design, that I think works a lot better. Now the focus is on the comic strip much more than the unfinished animations and store, etc. If you have any questions or comments about anything related to the strip or site, don't hesitate to toss me an email. Thanks for visiting, everyone.
